4109 Haldane St

Available immediately or August 1.

We are looking for another person to share a large house for graduate students and young professionals. The house is in Greenfield (4109 Haldane St.) on a quiet, tree-lined, residential street about 2 miles from...
Pitt's Cathedral of Learning and CMU. The 58 bus is a 5-minute walk from the house. Rent is $650 per month plus utilities (or $725 for the large room). A $1300 ($1450) security deposit is required when the lease is signed, and the first month’s rent is due upon occupancy. One-year leases only. Each housemate has his/her own lease. $45 for a credit check is required at the time of application. The utilities (gas, water, electric, internet) average about $100/mo.

The house was completely renovated in August 2019: all HARDWOOD floors refinished, gutted/remodeled bathroom, new kitchen, complete electrical upgrade, new roof, interior painting, new dryer, new stove/oven and new doors.

The washer and dryer are in the basement and there is no charge to use them. The common areas are generously sized, so each person has plenty of space. There is some furniture in the dining room, but housemates will need to provide their own bedroom/office furniture. There is a lot of storage space in the basement.

The landlord/owner is NOT one of those big Pgh property management companies, so you can count on quick responses to any issues that arise.

A car is not essential for this centrally located house, but if you do have one, there is plenty of street parking in the quiet residential neighborhood.

No smoking or pets.
