I am a top-producing sales associate for Howard Hanna Real Estate with 17 years of full-time Real Estate Agent expertise. I am consistently ranked among the top 200 agents in the greater Pittsburgh market and have been featured in Real Producers Magazine, the Pittsburgh Business Times, Pittsburgh Magazine and the Post Gazette. I am honored to have won various awards such as National Sales Excellence, Howard Hanna Quality Service Awards, Homesnap Excellence in Client Service Awards, Five-Star Agent Awards as well as being repeatedly named a Who’s-Who in Residential Real Estate by the Pittsburgh Business Times. During my downtime, I enjoy cooking, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends. All my life, I’ve been a little bit obsessed with architecture. My original dream was to be an architect. That plan came to a swift ending after my first mechanical drawing class in middle school when I discovered I have no spatial reasoning skills and am quite awful at math. Little did I know then that I would parlay my love of houses into a different type of career after more than a few adventures down other avenues. My background was in psychology, which then became a desire to teach. I taught elementary school for eight years in the Pittsburgh Public School District, but that wasn’t the right long-term path for me, and I made the leap of faith into real estate. It’s been 17 years, and I am lucky to say I made the right career choice. Real estate isn’t just a house-selling business, it’s a people business first, and it just so happens that my two fascinations - the workings of human minds and architectural design make me pretty darn good at my job. On a personal note, I am from the east end of Pittsburgh and live in the south hills. My husband Mike is an elementary school teacher in the city, and before that, he was in the Army, stationed in Korea and Germany primarily. We have four kids, ages 28, 21, 19, and 14. I genuinely love to travel. I’m always planning trips, and I am incredibly grateful that we have both created successful careers that allow us to do so.
